Editorial Guidelines

zensoul.net is a meditation editorial site covering guided practice, meditation space design, product guidance, and practice advice for specific life circumstances. These guidelines explain how we research, write, update, and stand behind what we publish. If you believe we missed our standards, email contact@zensoul.net or use our contact page.

What we cover

Our strongest editorial areas are guided meditation scripts for specific situations, meditation space design from a designer’s perspective, product guides with honest evaluation criteria, and practice guidance for grief, burnout, anxiety, and sleep. We aim for articles that help readers understand how and why a practice or space decision works, not empty aspiration lists.

We do not publish generic wellness listicles with no personal perspective, keyword-only pages written for search engines alone, or content that makes clinical health claims without sourcing. See our About page for who writes here and what to expect.

Accuracy and quality

Articles are written by Nora Hale and Tara Quinn. Each piece reflects personal practice experience or design expertise, is reviewed before publication, and goes through editing for clarity and factual accuracy. We check claims that matter to the reader and prefer clear sourcing when facts are easy to verify.

When new information changes a story, we update the article or note the change clearly. We review evergreen content on a rolling basis for timeliness. If you spot an error, tell us. We will verify and correct when appropriate.

For articles that make health or wellbeing claims, Nora cites peer-reviewed sources (PubMed, Harvard Health, clinical mindfulness research). We do not overstate what studies show. We are explicit that neither Nora nor Tara are therapists or clinical professionals, and nothing on this site constitutes medical advice.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions belong to zensoul’s authors, not to advertisers or commercial partners. We do not accept payment to praise a product we would not otherwise recommend. If we review or mention a product, the assessment reflects our honest judgment.

Some articles contain affiliate links (for example to Amazon via the Lasso plugin). Those links do not control what we publish or how we evaluate products. Affiliate links appear only where relevant, with neutral wording. Purchases through those links may earn a commission at no extra cost to the reader. We disclose affiliate relationships at the top of every product article.

Original work and attribution

We expect original text and honest attribution. When we draw on external research or reporting, we credit and link to the source. Images should support the writing and respect copyright. We do not treat scraped image collections as finished editorial.

Human-led publishing

zensoul is built for readers who want writing from people who have done the work. Nora and Tara stand behind every article that carries their bylines. Content is researched, written, and reviewed by the named authors before publication. Automated text published without meaningful human review and editorial judgment does not belong on this site.

Who operates zensoul

Day to day, what you read on zensoul comes from Nora and Tara’s editorial work. Behind the scenes, the site is operated by Lighthouse Retail Media (see our Legal Notice and Privacy Policy). Other websites run by the same company maintain their own editorial teams. Coverage here is chosen only when it serves zensoul readers.
